I loved this story by Karen Rock! It is the first book in her Dallas After Dark series and so far I'm loving it! In this romantic suspense Detective Blake Knight has to go undercover as a male stripper in an elite male strip club to find and bust a steroid ring, but the one complication he doesn't expect is his new boss Reese Landon. Reese hasn't been back to Dallas since that night so many years ago that shattered her innocence and trust in her father, but when her father is shot and goes into a coma she decides she will do everything that she can to protect him including keeping the police at a distance. I'm looking forward to reading more of the books in this great series! I was given an ARC from the author/publisher. All conclusions are mine and mine alone.

A hot detective working undercover in a male strip club? Count me in!! When I read the blurb for this one I knew I needed to read it. I definitely was not disappointed. Detective Blake Knight is working to bust a steroid ring working out of a male strip club. Making inroads into the group will require him to get a job in the club. Reese Landon is running her father's club after he's shot and left in a coma. She's aware her father has some shady deals going on and she'll do whatever it takes to protect him. Seems like cooperating with Detective Blake is the best way to do that. You know, keep your enemies close and all that. Too bad he doesn't really seem like an enemy. She just hopes she can keep her attraction to him at bay before they all get burned. This is a very well done book with great writing, characters, and a nice pace and storyline. Definitely a book I recommend.
