Das Bindeglied ist Bim Bam, dessen Mutter beschlossen hat, dass er der Sohn von Herbert ist, wobei auch vieles für den Gastarbeiter Hrvoje spricht. Doch der ist als Vater unerwünscht. Und so vergeht ein halbes Leben, bis er erfährt, dass er einen Sohn hat. Mal melancholisch, mal skurril erzählt Kasper Behm von einem Gefangenenlager in Utah, der Sturmflut in Bremerhaven, von einem Hundefriseur in Jugoslawien, Marienerscheinungen und dem Massaker in Bleiburg. Aus dieser Collage schält sich heraus, dass die Frage "Woher kommst du?" nach neuen Antworten verlangt.
About the author
Kasper Behm, geboren 1983, lebt und arbeitet abwechselnd in Mannheim und Zadar, Kroatien. Er studierte Jazzgesang in Tel Aviv, komponiert und textet für nationale und internationale Künstler. "Wo die Henne Wasser trinkt" ist sein Romandebüt.
