Mix together a beautiful ballerina and ballet teacher, a sexy single dad, and a precocious-yet-sweet daughter, and emotions run high. Add racial and cultural differences, work contracts coming to an end, and hurts and memories from the past and sparks fly.

Rowena loves to dance but has ended up teaching ballet instead. When she helps out Cameron’s difficult daughter, a bond develops between the two dancers. Cameron makes Rowena uncomfortable because he stirs up new, unwanted feelings which make no sense when he intends to leave Zambia soon when his contract ends.

Cameron can’t resist sanguine live-wire Rowena who makes his daughter smile for the first time in years. But can he risk his heart again when memories of his late wife come back to haunt him? And Rowena has a lot more at stake in giving her all.

About the author

Kathy loved reading and writing from early childhood, but her dream to write books was put aside until her kids were small, and she had little mental stimulation. She fell in love with writing romance and hasn’t looked back since writing her first romance novel in 2007. She homeschools her three children so in between deciphering algebraic problems for her teenage son (with little success), conducting science experiments, and tackling piles of laundry and dishes, she miraculously finds time to write books and read many others for fun.

Millions of readers have fallen in love with Ava's bestselling books...come join the family.

International Bestselling Author Ava Miles shares an emotional tale about a woman’s quest to reunite her family and make a patchwork quilt of happiness out of her own happily ever after.

Riley Thomson believes every woman can be her own superhero.

When he meets Sadie McGuiness, he’s even more sure of it.

The sassy quilter might not fight good and evil, like he depicts as a comic book artist, but she leaps tall buildings in a single bound. He sees it in her brave quest to locate her long-lost sister and the way she champions his motherless daughter. It’s not just her superhuman strength he’s attracted to—it’s the strength of her heart. She stitches together the different blocks of her life with love, much like the magical quilts she creates. Soon he’s modeling his new female superhero after her.

As Sadie and Riley create their own patchwork of happiness, dark forces from their past return to test them. Can they battle them together to ensure a happily ever after for them and the rest of their family?
