Die vorliegende Dissertation analysiert das Integrationsverhalten chinesischer Zuwanderer in Berlin anhand einer Fallstudie, die interessante Erkenntnisse bringt: Die Zuwanderer fühlen die Notwendigkeit, ihre chinesische Identität zu rekonstruieren – allerdings mit dem Ziel, sich damit in Deutschland besser zu integrieren. Dies führt oft zu Konflikten innerhalb von Familien.
