About this ebook

I can’t touch anyone.

I was born with a curse. Hearts tell me everything about a person’s emotional state. Physical touch amplifies those emotions.

I only ever wanted to be normal, but I’m not. I hurt the people I love. Now I’m paying for it.

A power-hungry slaver learned about my ability and took me to his fortress in a vast desert. I won’t give him what he wants, but I’m trapped. I can’t escape on my own.

All I want to do is reach the place I can atone for my sins: the Cloud, the city in the sky. Then, as if to answer my pleas, a desert dweller infiltrates my prison and gives me the chance to escape.

The Soul Seer Saga is a sci-fi fantasy that takes place in a post-apocalyptic dystopian world.

It has a good plot but the story is missing explanation and subtext. "What is that? Will there be a back story or an explanation... Nope? Glad I didn'thave to buy this." I found myself often saying.

The mixed timelines are confusing. Insufficient explanations make this only so-so.

About the author

Kestra Pingree is a creative who doesn't know how to stop. They are first and foremost a writer and storyteller with an endless library of books in their head just waiting to be typed. They are also an artist and animator, as well as a singer, songwriter, and voice actor. One day they swear they're going to make their own video game, too.

If it involves creating, they are there.

They can also be seen cuddling their cat, reading, or playing video games.
