Such a treat to be back in Penmenna, among the familiar characters and meeting new ones! In this, the third book in series, we are following the life of Teaching Assistant, Pippa Parkin. Happy with life at the moment, Pippa is jolted out of her comfort zone when she meets Kam Choudhury in the school car park and feels an instant attraction. As he turns out to be her new colleague, she strives to keep a lid on her feelings - but how well can she manage it? This is a fun read; alongside the burgeoning attraction between Pippa and Kam, there is humour - great big dollops of it. The characters really come to life thanks to Kitty Wilson's beautiful writing. Pippa's mother is a real card - loving with it, but definitely doesn't know where to draw the line! Her flatmate's hobby made me giggle throughout - I'm so glad i didn't have to share a home with her! Catching up with the original inhabitants was a sheer delight .. it's all very cleverly structured; always something to keep my attention on the page. Truly enjoyable! I just have to mention the fabulous covers for this series - they really do the stories justice.  I'm absolutely delighted to recommend this - in fact, the whole series is fabulous and fully earns five gleaming gold stars!

About the author

Kitty Wilson lived in Cornwall having been dragged there, against her will, as a stroppy teen. She is now remarkably grateful to her parents for their foresight and wisdom – and that her own children aren’t as hideous. Recently she moved to Bristol, but only on the understanding that she and her partner will be returning to Cornwall to live very soon. She has a penchant for very loud music, equally loud dresses and romantic heroines who speak their mind.
