Dinner or a lifetime? The VonBrandts strike again. When Jared goes off to New Orleans on one of his many appearances at charity functions across the country he has no intention other than to spend an enjoyable evening eating an exceptional dinner and perhaps pick up a painting for his alpha’s wife, Tonya. Well that and make sure a decent amount spent in the support of cancer research. What he didn’t expect was to get into a bidding war with a total sleazeball over a woman… a werewolf at that, one that has his wolf standing up and taking notice. Thirty thousand dollars for a single date, but boy wasn’t she a beauty. Elise Blanchard is an administrative assistant for the company owned by the very sleazeball bidding on her. She was the last minute replacement for one of the local debutantes that had volunteered to be auctioned off. Elise is also a werewolf and as far as she knows, she is the only one in existence. Imagine her surprise when she gets a whiff of Jared. Not the least bit surprising, Elise has just a few questions in spite of the sparks that are flying hot and heavy between them. Questions like… where did she come from? Who were her parents? Are there more of them?… Some questions which might never be answered. Elise and Jared’s connection is fast and the courting all too short. Regardless, this is the mating of two souls made for each other. If you are looking for a short, satisfying paranormal romance, then To Win A Mate will surely meet your needs. I was gifted this book in exchange for an honest review.

Jared VonBrandt attends a charity auction only to find himself bidding on Elise Blanchard and he’ll win her at any cost in this charming paranormal romance. A twist of fate gives Elise an opportunity she’ll risk everything to claim and the reader can’t help but be charmed by this fast paced, smooth flowing romance as Jared and Elise both get their heart’s desire. The characters are strong, captivating and grab reader’s attention with sizzling chemistry, steamy sex scenes and heart gripping emotions. This is a delightful quick and steamy read that I thoroughly enjoyed, of course I always enjoy the VonBrandts so I can’t wait to read the next one.
