Super cute and funny. I love every bit of it. The story started off as Bronough Murphy, a loner Irish teenage girl, meeting Dominic with his twin brother Damian Slater, the new students from America. Dominic was annoying to Bronough which she was furious about and thus made Dominic more determined to get under her skin. Little did she know that all his attempts to catch her attention, bullying her and just making her more angry, was an act of the guy-likes-girl play. And Bronough being oblivious to it was shocked at the confession Dominic did in front of her and realized that she too has feeling for Dominic but as they started off their relationship, Bronough was shocked with what she had learned about why Dominic and his brothers moved from New York to Dublin. As secrets come out from the Slater brothers, Bronough was more in-love with Dominic and with the life she refused to accept ever since her parents died when she was young. From being a loner she became open to people and having friends and Dominic as her boyfriend in particular. The plot of the story is very humane and very down-to-earth with the whole Alpha male and stubborn heroine thing. I love how the very trite things still brings a smile to my face. (view spoiler). Though the language used in the story is quite well-used and very informative that you don't need a dictionary or a thesaurus to look for the meaning. And since this story is set in Ireland, you could really get the air of Irish being set into play. I just love the Slater brothers so much I cannot wait for Alec and the other stories of the other brothers. And their brotherly bond with one another is something worth swooning for. Speaking of which, I very much noted the characteristics of each brother given by the author because I'm very much interested in each of them. Dominic's alpha male role in the story is very alluring and very annoying too because reality-wise having a very jealous boyfriend can be a pain but having a jealous hot boyfriend is both alluring and annoying. I get it that he is being protective of Bronough but we all know Bronough is one touch chick and that she is fine fighting her own battles. Its just so cute :D Bronough is someone I put off as very insecure with her body and that with her losing her parents when she was young made her push people away and not let anyone get in her heart. I sympathize her but during the times when she won't accept her feelings for Dominic because she was afraid of losing him with death was very annoying, you could use it as an excuse but not forever and I am happy that she learned to take the leap of faith and opened her heart to everything she has shut out in her life. I was just shocked on some revelations I got in the end of the story (view spoiler) but overall I really love this book and cannot wait for the other Slater brothers to find love the same way Dominic did.

I'm probably in the minority when I say I hate this but I don't care. It seemed to start out okay and I really liked that it was set in Ireland, but the hero was an asshole. The things he did to the girl he supposedly liked were not cute or funny it seemed more like harassment. There was no possessive alpha male, just a eff'd up bullyThis book just wasn't for me.
