I'm not sure what I expected when I received this ARC but it wasn't what I read. Both of these stories are fast-paced, quick reads that will titillate the senses. 1. Alpha Heat 'Alpha Heat' is the first book in L. M. Mountford's "Alpha Men of the Otherworld" series and comes with a powerful punch for such a short storyline! Alpha Men of the Otherworld. I enjoyed these short reads. The bit of action, suspense, danger, sizzling sex scenes kept me interested. Bloodlust - is about a vampire who saves a human woman from being assaulted. Alpha Heat - is about a wolf shifter living among humans for a decade. He returns home to his old pack because he's having "wolfie" issues and needs to talk to the alpha who happens to be a female. These two thrilling stories are well written and the storyline along with the characters will keep you captivated until the end and then leave you hanging with not exactly a cliffhanger more like an abrupt happy for now ending. Overall, these two short stories are captivating and entertaining, I just wish they were complete. I'm giving both stories 4 stars only because I don't like HFN or cliffhanger endings. My first read by this author!. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Blood lust: My first paranormal story and I like it. Lucian is a vampire who was about to take out some men when he stopped, they weren’t to his standards. Lol but as you know there’s added spice when Kate is in the mix. There’s a suspense, insta, fast read, great POV which I like to see from both characters and great chemistry. So it’s an fantastic read! Alpha heat: Danny and Ezra story has you excited to see how well these two can handle the situation ahead of them and their reaction to each other! A great read that has you glued to the pages.
