About this ebook

First she invades my home, then she steals my heart.

I thought I was getting a quiet, low-maintenance guy as a roommate. Someone who’d pay rent on time, keep to themselves, and not disrupt my carefully guarded solitude. Then she showed up.

Sam.

Petite, honey brown hair, and so radiant it hurts to look at her. She’s all smiles and sunshine, while I’m standing there wondering how to back out of our agreement without being a total asshole. But she’s desperate for a place to stay, and I—idiot that I am—can’t bring myself to refuse.

Now every day is torture. Her laughter echoes through my apartment. Her smile sneaks under my skin. And her tiny tank tops and short shorts are definitely sending me straight to hell. She deserves someone better—not a grumpy, broken mess of a man who can’t even look her in the eye without wanting things he shouldn’t.

I’ll keep my head down, avoid eye contact, and definitely not think about how soft her lips look. Yeah… this is going to end well.

Grumpy, tortured hero. Sunshine roommate with a traumatic past. Unrequited feelings galore. Roommates with Benefits delivers forced proximity at its finest, until neither can stand it anymore. Move in with Keith and Sam now, because things are about to get messy.

This story is dual POV, well written, and a sweet and steamy, roommates to lovers, contemporary romance with two very insecure lead characters. I enjoyed Sam’s certainty that she could build a home in her new space. I empathised with the historical trauma she carried and enjoyed seeing her self confidence grow. I chuckled at Keith’s mortification when Sam was female and empathised with his worries. I enjoyed that he enjoyed Sam’s presence.

I've read a lot of books written by L. Moone; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is part of the Husky Ever After Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Sam & Keith; he’s looking to get a roommate; she’s new to town.

Once again, I am in love with another book by Ms. Moone! I think what I love most is that the characters are so relatable and human. I adore the sweet, gooey guy in this story. Sam is moving in with Keith after a horrible breakup with her ex. The only thing is that Keith thinks Sam is a guy. Both Keith and Sam have insecurities and form opinions without having all the information. This story makes you want to reach through the pages and hug both of them. Excellent book with the best ending!
