Ok, I'll say this. This was probably the strangest love story I've ever read and yet it literally brought tears to my eyes. Ironically, now I want to know if Mutter is able to get revenge and whether or not there is any kind of justice for him and Sweet. Who would've thought something like this would've caught my imagination and piqued my interest? Certainly not me.

This is a unique book. Kinda like the island of Dr. Moreau, but from the viewpoint of the experimented upon creatures. The world building is fantastic. The characters are unique and original. I love this book. I look forward to reading more stories in this fantastic world. I would highly recommend this book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

honestly this is one of the best books I've read so far ...aside of all of the weird killing and feeding the creatures servants this was so heart touchy and made me cry a bit #Mutter & Sweet forever

About the author

L. S. O’Dea sees things a bit differently than most people. This is probably a bi-product of being the youngest of seven children in a time when TV was only worth watching in the evenings or Saturday mornings and there were no computers. Back then, kids had to amuse themselves and being five years younger than her closest sibling she was often the unwilling entertainment.
