London, 1853 Lady Catherine and Alexander Gray share a passion… because Catherine IS Alexander Gray!

Despite Lady Catherine’s love of fencing, she needs to stop pretending to be a boy and fraternizing with men… but only AFTER she competes in the upcoming fencing tournament! Her mother plans to marry her off by the end of the season, so this will be her last chance to enjoy her freedom. When she impulsively puts her reputation at risk to save the life of a dashing competitor, all seems lost when he sees through her disguise.

Can the Mad Marquess find a bride?

Daniel, Marquess of Huntley, wants to overcome the rumors of his father’s madness so that he can be embraced by London society. His plan is to marry the most proper woman who will have him, and then raise stable, respectable children. He certainly isn’t interested in some hoyden with a penchant for masquerading as a boy and flaunting society’s rules. In fact, he’d prefer to keep his distance.

It comes down to a question of honor…

When an obsessed suitor discovers Catherine’s secret and threatens blackmail, the only path out of social ruin is marriage. But what kind of protection does matrimony provide when a vengeful suitor is plotting the ultimate revenge?

About the author

 Find Sheridan Jeane at

Sheridan Jeane writes exciting and emotion-packed Victorian era romances featuring strong heroines and dashing heroes.

As of May 2016, she has released five books, four of which are in her "Secrets and Seduction" series. She was the co-founder of Three Rivers Romance Writers, a chapter of Romance Writers of America and served as chapter president for two years. She is currently writing a new contemporary romance series set in a small town near Pittsburgh The first book will be available in 2017.

Sheridan grew up in southern Ohio as the daughter of an artist and an opera-loving computer engineer. She never realized that most parents didn't convert their garage into an art studio that was outfitted with a potter's wheel, enameling supplies, a kiln, and every color of acrylic paint under the sun, nor did she realize it was unusual to be in the second grade and nailing shingles onto the roof of the new 2-car garage her dad had just built (complete with his very own workshop)! Sheridan fell in love with the written word, so much so that while she was away at summer camp, her dad covered the entire wall of her bedroom with floor to ceiling bookcases.

Sheridan's standalone novel:
Gambling on a Scoundrel

Sheridan's books in her Secrets and Seduction series are:
It Takes a Spy...
Lady Catherine's Secret
Once Upon a Spy
My Lady, My Spy, and

Along Came a Spy (coming in 2017)

Lord Wentworth can’t refuse his brother’s request — not when war with Russia is at stake!

Robert, Earl of Wentworth, isn’t a spy, and he never wants to be one, but when his brother is injured and needs his help stealing an important book from the Russian embassy, he can’t refuse.

Antonia’s future depends on stealing that book…

Antonia has lost everything. She can’t even claim her own name. If she wants her life back, she needs that book. The problem is, Lord Wentworth just stole it from the Russian Ambassador.

Antonia has lost everything. She can’t even claim her own name. If she wants her life back, she needs that book. The problem is, Lord Wentworth just stole it from the Russian Ambassador.

…And they both need it

The reluctant spy and the daring thief find themselves at cross-purposes. Who will win in this dangerous game of nations— especially when their hearts are at stake as well?

Note from the author: My books aren’t edgy or stomach-churning. If you’re looking for something dark and twisty, go elsewhere. If you’re looking for something to take your mind off the world for a while and leave you feeling a bit better about life, then this is the book for you!

* This is not a cliffhanger. Each book’s hero and heroine have their own complete romance and HEA (happily ever after). Characters from the books will reappear throughout the series, but they will be in supplementary roles.

** The romance scenes in this book are explicit, but not frequent.
