Interesting characters, good story, seems character development will occur in the other books as it only expands on the male characters, the female lead is interesting, but her character is described in her actions rather than developing further as a character. She doesn't appear to have anywhere positive to progress to, she nice and strong already.

9/10. This was different than most of the fantasy that I have read. Good and somewhat thought provoking. Will read the sequel at some point. This was a complete story, and not one of those bait book 1 deals.

This is honestly one of the best books I have read in months! The storyline is original and the characters are unique. I never once felt like I had to push through, as this book just sucked me in completely. I especially liked Ru, who I still haven't quite figured out yet... Love this book!!!
