Mark Debrest nació en Barcelona en 1965, ciudad donde reside y cerca de la cual trabaja en una prestigiosa escuela de música. Música y literatura han sido siempre sus dos grandes pasiones, sobre todo la literatura de autores ingleses y americanos como Dickens, las hermanas Brontë, Edgar Allan Poe, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle y Daphne du Maurier. Sin olvidar a la gran escritora de novelas de misterio Agatha Christie. En 2013 creó un blog donde ha publicado parte de su obra y sus narraciones breves, de diferente temática. r
