Sano doubts that Yoshisato is really the Shogun's son, believing it's more likely a power-play by Yanagisawa. When Sano learns that Tsuruhime's death may have been a murder, he sets off on a dangerous investigation that leads to more death and destruction as he struggles to keep his pregnant wife, Reiko, and his son safe. I have read every book in this saga of Sano Ichiro. Once I begin reading a new story, I find it hard to put the book down until I finish it. I am already looking forward to the next installment because as always the author sets the stage for her next book in the last chapter. I hope that it will be published soon. Gerry

Amazing as always. I have been in love with the Sano Ichiro series from the very beginning. I can't wait for the next installment.
