#1 New York Times Bestseller

A USA TODAY Bestseller

An achingly authentic and raw portrait of love, regret, and the life-altering impact of the relationships we hold closest to us, this YA romance bestseller is perfect for fans of Colleen Hoover, Jenny Han, and Lynn Painter.

If he had been with me, everything would have been different...

Autumn and Finn used to be inseparable. But then something changed. Or they changed. Now, they do their best to ignore each other.

Autumn has her boyfriend Jamie, and her close-knit group of friends. And Finn has become that boy at school, the one everyone wants to be around.

That still doesn't stop the way Autumn feels every time she and Finn cross paths, and the growing, nagging thought that maybe things could have been different. Maybe they should be together.

But come August, things will change forever. And as time passes, Autumn will be forced to confront how else life might have been different if they had never parted ways...

Captivating and heartbreaking, If He Had Been with Me is perfect for readers looking for:

Relatable, heartfelt, easy read. This sad book is full of emotion, it goes through the feelings of a young teenage girl as she tries to navigate her feelings for her friend. I found myself feeling like I had been in Autumns shoes while not the same situation the same roller coaster of teenage emotions. I enjoyed the book however I felt slightly robbed by the ending, one question that needs to be asked after reading this book is what were the test results?

This book was ..... A something. Walk into a library, found this book, and liked the preview. Read it and omg was it worth it. Basically we get a teen girls view from four years, mainly in highschool and summer. She has a friend group, find love, and then around chapter 25 to 35 (?) does the story get cool. A girl in the group is pregos(maybe was in the third year?), somewhere near the end the main girls boyfriend is like I don't like you(bullship), and forgot to mention her elementary best friend since birth then got ditched, is dating a girl that main girl dislikes, then elementary friend tries to make main girl happy again, they fax each others brains out, and the elementary boyfriend dies from his girlfriend (not to be confused with the main girl) just laying unconscious on the road(she went flying out the windshield and ragdolled onto the earth). Main girl is sad again, and is pregnant somehow. And that's how the author ends the ducking book. Somehow really good. 4/5. Srry lon

Terrible writing. Hard to form a bond with the characters because the writing is so terrible. It's a super boring read. The story line is ok, but there's literally no emotion. I'll never listen to book-tok again. All in all, it's the worst book I've read so far.
