I knew I would enjoy The V Card. When you have two insanely talented, highly entertaining, rom com geniuses collaborate on one project, it’s destined to be magic. This light and sexy best friend's little sister/ friends to lovers romance has it all - heat, humor, heart, and lingerie. The V Card is a total must read. Playboy Graham is in jeopardy of losing control of the business he started with his late partner and best friend. To convince the board to keep his vision alive, he enlists CJ to help. But, CJ asks for a favor in return. At 25, she is a successful, charming, intelligent woman who also happens to be inexperience in all things sex. She is ready to lose her v card and Graham is the only person she wants to teach her all the ways of seduction. They agree to have one week of "lessons" with no emotions. But that proved to be harder than they believed. Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente bring the sexy in this book. CJ and Graham’s connection is second to none. I just adored these characters. I loved how much they care for one another even before they started their lessons. I hope The V Card won't be the last collaboration between Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente. I was extremely impressed with the ease and flow of their combined writing.

I'm a complete sucker for a brother's best friend story and this one was very sweet & entertaining. Even though Lili Valente is a new-to-me author, Lauren Blakely is one of my go-tos so I knew I was in for a treat. Graham and CJ have known each other for years, thanks to his friendship with her brother. With Sean's passing they've grown closer and there's a comfort between them. So much so that CJ decides to enlist Graham in her quest to lose her v card. What follows is a steamy, fun, and at times touching, journey as two friends do their best to keep their hearts out of the equation. But you know what they say about the best laid plans! I was so happy this book was told in dual pov. CJ is so endearing, smart, and a little bit quirky. Graham is caring, charming and charasmatic. It was great being inside both their heads as the story played out, especially once the "lessons" began. I liked knowing how conflicted they each were and how much they really did care about each other. I loved their close friendship, the bond they shared even before CJ made her proposal, and the way things developed from there. If you're a fan of sexy and charming brother's best friend or friends-to-lovers romances, The V Card should be right up your alley.

A hero worthy of adoration. A heroine taking charge of herself. Best-friend's little sister to friends to lovers. Heat, emotional growth, a little heart jerky. What's not to love? This writing duo are a sure thing every time.
