This collection of novellas showcases several couples and how their relationships evolve with both Valentine's Day and a comedy show at the heart of all of them. The characters will be familiar to the reader if they have read any of the Rules of Love series, but if you haven't, no worries. You can enjoy these short stories all on their own as well. It was great to see all of these stories unfold differently even with the common holiday and event. They all had what Lauren Blakely has become known for, witty banter, hotness leaping off the pages, good friendships and fun.

Sometimes, as a reader, all we want is a quick and fun read before bed. This book is just that, five short stories, linked by Valentine’s Day, baseball and besties. The choice is up to you, read all of them in one sitting like me, or take your time and savior the goodness. There are a few tropes beside the sports romance - forbidden, friends to lovers and most have an insta love feel to them. If you follow this author, you’ll know she has the brightest and vivacious personality that shines brightly in her heroines. Her heroes are always very swoony, great with banter and know how to please a woman or man if that’s the case. I enjoyed getting to know these couples and seeing the guys from the previous books getting their own HEA. It bought the series to a perfect closure.

What a great collection of short novellas that are beautiful, sweet, and full of heart and passion. Each story is about different couples, who meet under different circumstances, and have their own unique, enchanting and scorching hot romance. Some couples are new, while others were friends from other books that definitely had more to say. Each love story is packed with flirty banter, is hopelessly romantic, and is heart-meltingly sweet, swoony, and sizzling! This is a perfect collection when you're looking for some quick, reading pleasure!
