I loved it. Light and easy read. How the main characters fell in love with each other is well written. No complex.conflict bet.the 2; that's why its easy to read. The sex scenes are well written too. Overall a good and easy read; perfect for killing the time.

This was a long time coming! I bought this book and (ducks behind a wall) forgot about it. I knew I wanted to read it but lost it in the 37 different reading apps on my phone. But with a new year, I discovered the hidden book. Good Girl is sweet and sassy. It has a prickly hot dude, some amazing friends, and a "whatever this is" story that will make you smile. It has two dogs (and I use the plural form loosely), a jerky liar- or two, and most importantly zip ties. Zip ties make the world go round!

While this one is a bit different from other Lauren Layne books, overall it was a very enjoyable read. I must say I did miss all the snarky banter I've come to love from LL books and what exactly was Noah/Preston's problem??? To keep it clean I'll just say he was quite the jerk. Anyway, back to the story - Jenny Dawson has finally made it big in Nashville. Unfortunately with that fame comes the unwanted paparazzi and the lie printed in the press . To escape the pressure and have some quiet time to write her next album Jenny rents a house in a remote location in Louisiana. That's where she meets the incredibly grumpy caretaker Noah. Too bad he has such an attitude because he is definitely hot! While these two clash from the very beginning there is an undeniable attraction between them. As things begin to really heat up between them, it becomes obvious to both of them that they will have to work to fit into each others lives. Noah hasn't been completely honest though and his secrets may come between them. Overall this is a fun feel good read that I would definitely recommend to everyone.

Lauren Layne is a New York Times bestselling author of contemporary romance novels. Prior to becoming a writer, she worked in e-commerce and Web marketing. In 2011 Lauren and her husband moved from Seattle to New York City, where she decided to pursue a full-time writing career. It took six months to get her first book deal (despite Lauren’s ardent assurances to her husband that it would take only three).
