About the author
Laurence Middleton is a storyteller and adventurer with a career spanning writing, filming, teaching, trawling the seas, and even providing IT support at Hay Festival. He has written scripts for Walt Disney, stage adaptations for Cambridge University and is an award-winning poet. A qualified pharmacist and a Goldsmiths’ English graduate with a Master’s in Scriptwriting, Laurence’s work has taken him from the jungles of South America to the world stage in London.
When not wordsmithing or capturing stories on camera, Laurence enjoys life in Hay-on-Wye with his family, drawing inspiration from the wonderful old town, its river, mountains and inns.
