I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. In this first book in The Bennett Family series we meet Sebastian, the CEO (and founder) of Bennett Enterprises. His business is important to him but his family is the most important thing in his life. Bennett Enterprises is extremely successful in the jewelry industry with many family members holding positions in the company. When Sebastian sees Ava who has been hired as a marketing consultant for their new line, he's instantly attracted to her. This couple tried to keep their relationship professional but that didn't go too well for them. Layla Hagen has written a wonderfully descriptive novel with very likable characters that gripped my heart. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them. It was interesting the way Ava and Sebastian were drawn to each other but tried not to give in to their desires. Ava was a strong, intelligent woman who did her job well. Sebastian was also strong and intelligent but it was nice to see his soft side when he was worried about the way Ava felt about him. I love the Bennett family and am looking forward to reading more about them.

Well hello Bennett family. Layla Hagen has given us a wonderful cast of characters that has me excited for each of the family member’s stories. Sebastian Bennett leads off the tales; he has built a jewelry empire out of the need to make sure his family is taken care of. Growing up, their family didn’t have much so he made it his mission to become a success and ensure that his family wouldn’t want for anything. Along the way, he put work ahead of love and now all the women he dates are more interested in his bank account than him. Ava is brought into Bennett Enterprises to launch the next jewelry line with a fresh perspective. Ava is excited about her new assignment but she never expected Sebastian Bennett to light her fire. Ava isn’t allowed to date anyone she is working for; will she be able to keep her distance from Sebastian? Sebastian is challenged by Ava, which surprises him as she treats him like any other person. Will Sebastian be willing to let love into his life? Is Ava willing to risk her career to find true happiness? Loved every moment of Sebastian and Ava’s journey, as well as meeting the entire Bennett family, Layla has definitely set the tone for an incredible series. I appreciate the great chemistry and banter that made me feel like they were my friends.

I hope everyone gets hooked as fast as I did in Ava & Sebastian's story. Started at 8am and just had to keep reading. Their story is fun,all business until it's not and entrancing. Leyla Hagen grabbed me and her writing wouldn't let me go, great story telling.
