The girl was keeping secrets till it blew up in her face, she could have told him but she didn't trust him enough to understand. The guy ran scared at the first sign of trouble, betraying their inner selfish selves, typical scenario. They were both dramatic and immature. Who would be small minded enough to think that your past is all that defines your entirety?
