Sometimes I like the detail Lee Child goes into especially when it advances the plot, but in this case I felt it was filled with too much irrelevant detail that I ended up skipping. You take out slot of this and the book would be a lot shorter

Not to the usual standard; I do hope that this isn't a sign of things to come. While we always know Reacher will win getting there is always a good ride, this was a journey that was slow predictable and not enjoyable.

I know some fans weren't so keen but I love reacher when he has stop offs and finds trouble. I read the book in extra quick time because I found it hard to put down. Great twist and as always, Lee child does it again with another superb storyline.
