About the author
LiLi Young, as her mother called her, has always been an avid reader whose life was elevated both through education and the love of books. The knowledge and experiences that she acquired through reading is what she attributes to changing the trajectory of her life. LiLi’s professional work has had a focus in education in which she has worked in K-12 public education for the majority of her career.
A love of children and the betterment of their condition through education is a passion for LiLi. As a mother of one very smart, caring, and courageous son, she loves to tell the world just how much she enjoyed being a parent to love and teach him and to learn from him as well.
