About this ebook

Where do you go when life as you know it literally implodes, when everything you believed to be true is nothing more than an ugly lie?

Skylar Perillo has been living a perfectly ordinary life in an ordinary small town, but nothing is as it seems. No, her life isn’t ordinary and it’s a far cry from perfect.

Leaving the one place she’s ever called home is the only way forward, but it’s like her mother used to say: The grass isn’t always greener.

When a job as a nanny literally comes to find Skylar, she has no choice but to take it, even if it does mean working for Leo Hale, the seriously uptight grump who’s already gotten under her skin.

But those old sayings do ring true because Skylar is about to learn that you can’t judge a book by its cover, and that it really is darkest before the dawn.

Sweet, heartbreaking and sexy, Your Hand in Mine is a second chance romance in the Blackbird series. All can be read as stand-alone love stories, and are intended for readers 18 and older due to mature themes, language and content.

As good as the first in the series, and that is saying a lot because I really loved that one.

This is book two in The Blackbird Series and it is Skylar and Leo's story. When Skylar and her twin sister Sienna's parents died in a car accident they found out that her father had took out different policies in there name amounting to a lot of money so they lost everything including there family home and with everything that Skylar was going through with her long time boyfriend she doesn't want to be with him anymore so she decides to move away so when Skylar gets a transfer letter saying that she can go to The University of Pittsburgh her sister Sienna tells her to go and live her own life for herself so that is what she does but she is so lonely and misses her sister so much that it physically hurts. Leo is a single father to Olivia his beautiful daughter and is his life so when she goes missing he is in a panic but it is Skylar that looks after her until Leo arrives to fetch her but he is so grumpy to everyone. The chemistry between Skylar and Leo is off the charts but with everything that Leo had been through with his dead wife he has no intention of going through it again with anyone but will be end up loosing out on something special with Skylar. When Skylar became Olivia's babysitter it was so sweet, strong and special with the connection between them and how they spent there time together as Skylar was not your normal college women she didn't party and go out much as it was not something that she liked to do and she was so mature and had a really special bond with Olivia. Skylar and Leo are both a little bit broken with everything that they have been through and I felt all there pain as if I was going through it with them myself but Skylar was such a positive person and she loved Olivia and Leo so much and helped Olivia grow with everything that they did together. Lily Foster is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and I definitely recommend you read this book and others by her and you will definitely not be disappointed. I Voluntarily Reviewed an Arc Copy of this Amazing Book.
