About the author
Linda Barrett is an award-winning author of nineteen contemporary romance novels, three novels of women's fiction as well as a memoir about surviving breast cancer twice. She grew up in New York City and earned her B.A. and M. S. at Hunter College. After marriage, she moved to New England where she and her husband raised three sons. Subsequent moves took her to Houston, Texas before settling in the greater Tampa, FL area. "I've loved every place and made friends wherever I've lived," she says. And of course, she's crazy about her wonderful grandchildren.
