This is an awesome book.The author (Liz Pichon)has written it in such a way that you feel you are a member of the book.I recommend that you should read this book as it is not only a great distraction from your problems but also is very comedic.It is very child safe.

My 8 year old fussy reader loved Tom Gates so much he asked me to buy all the others before he'd even finished this one! Must say I loved it too ☺

About the author

Liz Pichon is a British illustrator and children's writer. She studied graphic design in the Camberwell School of Art in London. She worked as art director in the musical label Jive Records. Afterwards she started working as a freelance illustrator and writer of children's books. She also writes the Tom Gates Series. Her titles include: The Brilliant World of Tom Gates, Tom Gates Everything's Amazing (sort of), Tom Gates Best Book Day Ever! and Tom Gates Super Good Skills (Almost). Her children's title The Very Ugly Book became well known in Worldcat Libraries. Her awards include the Roald Dahl Funny Prize, The Red House Book Award Best Book for Young Readers, the Waterstone¹s Best Fiction for 5-12 year olds Prize, and the Blue Peter Award for Best Story.
