About this ebook

Enemy at the gates, or a grave danger within?

With war looming, General Rhea makes a desperate choice: awaken the Black Isle’s most volatile weapon. The dragon, Saras, stirs inside his ancient prison at the sound of her voice—intrigued, hungry, yet fully aware of the crimes that led him to this dungeon. There’s only one way to prevent the same old tragedy from repeating itself: claim his true mate.

Rhea wants none of it. She needs his strength, not his desire. But denying a dragon’s instinct is a dangerous game, and ignoring his needs will only end in tears… or in flames.

And the more Rhea resists, the stronger the pull between them becomes. With the future of the Black Isles hanging in the balance, this is the worst possible moment for love. Or is it?

That’s the thing about playing with dragon fire; sooner or later you’re going to get burned.

A Dragon’s Treasure is the thrilling third instalment in Lorelei Moone’s Shifters of Black Isle series. To fully lose yourself in this fantasy realm and all its magic, danger and irresistible romance, start with book 1, Claimed by the King.

Broc and Rhea are left to deal with the fallout and yet another threat from the Merpeople. It's time to bring in the big guns so to speak. When they release one who has long been asleep. Saras is a man who has a dark past, it has plagued him for centuries. Can this be his time of redemption? One thing is for certain Rhea takes notice. We have a very good story with action, and romance.

Thrilling suspense and fascinating characters draw readers into the midst of this exciting story. The characters are strong and vivid which makes them come to life for the reader and the relationship between Rhea and Saras is very passionate although due to the length of the book there’s not a much of it because this book also has a lot of action as well. The story is fast paced and flows smoothly throughout giving readers insight into the characters and has an intense depicting of a major battle which adds suspense and excitement to the story. The story is a great read and the world is quite intriguing and readers will certainly enjoy it but the story could benefit from a bit longer with more details, especially in the relationship building between the hero and heroine. The story can be read as a standalone but the readers would have a better understanding of the character interactions by reading the stories in sequence.
