Whitney Gray is not thrilled that her pack is hosting another pack’s Alpha battle but when Cadence and Mateo Diego step into her life she finds herself on a new and dangerous path in this exciting paranormal romance. Cadence and Mateo are determined to secure their place as leaders of the Diego Pack but they didn’t anticipate finding their mate and the readers can’t help but get drawn into the passion and excitement as the trio end up on a journey from betrayal to forgiveness. Of course this mating of this threesome is red hot and sizzles with lots of passionate encounters but it also has some emotional turbulence that readers can certainly relate to and that’s not to mention the turmoil that’s taking place around them. The story is fast paced and flows smoothly with lots of suspense, excitement, romance and strong characters with compelling traits that captivate readers throughout their story. The Gray Pack has had its share of trouble in the past and this story certainly adds to it, not only is the Diego Pack having their Alpha battle amongst the pack but there is trouble with the Kaplan Pack as well so there is lots of excitement to get the adrenaline pumping, but you add in betrayals, revelations and relationship woes and there is a never ending supply of glued to pages suspense to hold readers hostage. The well written scenes are full of great details that paint vivid images of each and every scene while some unexpected twist keep them guessing. Visiting the Gray Pack was once again a thrilling experience that I wasn’t ready to be over and Cadence, Mateo and Whitney’s romance and I don’t think there could have been a better mating for Whitney than the sexy Diego cousins.
