Louis Charbonneau, a native of Detroit, Michigan, served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II. Under his name and various pseudonyms, he has written more than twenty novels in the fields of suspense, science fiction, and Western adventure. He has also been a teacher, copywriter, journalist, newspaper columnist, and book editor. He has written children's fiction, radio and TV scripts, and short stories. He makes his home in Lomita, California.
