About this ebook

It is time for Emilia, Gianpaolo, and Liliana to go to bed. But when Mommy and Daddy go upstairs to help them get ready, the children are nowhere to be found. Instead, three squirrels are jumping on the bed, swinging from the chandelier, and putting on Mommy’s lipstick.

Where did these squirrels come from? And where are Emilia, Gianpaolo, and Liliana?

Mommy and Daddy look everywhere for the children—while trying to stop the three squirrels from going crazy and getting into all kinds of trouble—but there’s something familiar about the three squirrels. They remind Mommy and Daddy a lot of Emilia, Gianpaolo, and Liliana.

Could it be?
Could the children have GONE SQUIRRELLY?

Gone Squirrelly is an imaginative story that will delight children and ring true with parents who know that bedtime routines with young children are usually anything but routine.

About the author

Luisa Izzo, an elementary school teacher, and her husband regularly experience the challenges of getting their three young children to bed. They understand the difficulties of parenting, they embrace the hectic moments, and have learned to laugh about them. Pulling inspiration from her family’s nightly routine, Luisa plans to make Gone Squirrelly a series that will entertain the little ones and let parents know they are not alone on the crazy adventure of parenthood.

An experienced educator, Luisa Izzo is well-versed in literary curriculum. She understands the importance of bringing fun stories into the classroom as a resource for learning. This book primarily focuses on the use of perspective. Luisa hopes this fictional tale will help educators like herself teach children about point of view as well as expressive language. She enjoys writing and reading, especially to her children. Gone Squirrelly, is her first book but she anticipates her three squirrels will definitely be coming back for more nutty adventures.
