About the author

Born in Singapore in 1974, Mr. Luminescence, of Chinese descent, is multilingual despite his family’s Mandarin-speaking background. After a modest upbringing, he joined the Singapore Navy in 1993, later assisting his father in the furniture business. He married in 2001 but divorced in 2011. In 2012, he published his first Chinese novel, aiming to inspire others with his life journey. In his own words, he’s a testament to making the best of life’s challenges
