A police murder mystery written in a rather simplistic style without much detail or description of physical characteristics or mental depth. The actual murders are lackluster in tension and fervor, leaving a flattish sort of emotional involvement within the reader. I also am left with the impression that the author hasn't done a great deal of research into police procedures and forensic medicine. Still and all, it was passing fair as a basic read.

I wouldn't say this was a bad book however definitely not one of my favourites. I found it very repetitive and I feel that it didn't really hook the reader like other books do. I did enjoy the ending though I found it very interesting.

I could not finish this book. It was not immersive reading experience in the slightest. The dialogues were stilted and forced. I gave up to move on and not to waste more time and that only happens once in a long while as I would read the back of packet of biscuits when bored.
