Story line is decent and that's pretty much where it ends. I was extremely confused by the writing style because it constantly switched back and forth between POV and there was also no real separation between characters in last half. There are a few grammatical issues I had to read through, most I was able to figure out but a couple of times I just didn't understand what the writer was trying to say. The last thing that was frustrating as a reader was that the story went back and forth on time, details were left out and thrown in there as if we should have expected it, details hinting that we should have read something that didn't even happen. Time was also thrown off. It was all just really confusing...

You get what you pay for. Fairly dull story with barely interesting characters. My biggest gripes are the grammatical errors and the rapid shifting of points of view (1st: Rachel to 3rd: everyone else) between said characters without any warning of which character the paragraph (yup, paragraph; though one of them was barely two sentences) was about, mind you, this was all in one chapter. If this is any indication of what's to come in the other books related to this one... No. Just no.

Poorly written, grammatical errors. It is sad how the authors fetishize rape and justify it under the guise of vampire lore. Don't read this. I made into the second novel and it just gets creepier as the main character does not evolve but progresses into what I can only describe as Stockholm syndrome. It isnt romantic, the characters are talking genitals and nothing more.
