First, not a full book. Second, many appearances of AI writing throughout it. The book has many instances of grammatical errors and in a few cases words that aren’t words but if you have a large vocabulary, you can guess what they were trying to say. Random places will also have a random symbol like the ] just suddenly within the text. Save your money. Honestly if you are patient get one of those AI filled drivel book apps and read it there and just ignore the ads as needed…

The story is so good it hooks you in, but the editing, my god this book needs so much editing. One character is referred to as both Damon and Jade, but there's another character named Jade. Pretty sure the story was changed at some point and not all spots were fixed. Nero is apparently deathly afraid of water, but chapters before that he's waist deep in a stream. Tons more continuity errors as you read through. Sometimes it's really difficult to tell who's talking because there are quotations, then space, then more quotations but it's the same person talking. There are sometimes quotation marks around internal thoughts, not just external dialogue too. I'm torn because I'd really like to buy the next book and continue the story, but I don't think I can handle wanting to fix it so badly and knowing I paid money for this terribly edited book.

The beginning really draws you in, then it starts to unravel. line spacing makes it hard to tell who is talking. Characters' names get randomly swapped for names not in the book. additionally people will be standing across the room, then suddenly be doing something completely different with no text regarding it. The story dissolves into tired tropes with no spark of the first few chapters.
