About the author
Massoud Abbasi was born in 1982, in Tehran, Iran. His family fled war to Turkey in 1987, where they were refugees, until arriving in Canada 1989. He holds a BComm, BA Philosophy and an MBA in Finance from McMaster University. A successful finance professional and aspiring philanthropist, he is an increasingly influential public figure in Toronto.
Upon the death of his father in 2013, a writer and journalist, he became inspired to follow in his footsteps and pursue his own passion and lifelong dream of becoming a writer. He left his job and began penning his debut novel, Seeker of Horizons.
