Accompanied by his newfound companion, the young boy Vesper, Stream, must first reach safety before he can even begin to contemplate what comes next. What follows is an exploratory journey as he discovers his own dark history and powers. As he learns about the world around him, Stream faces an age-old choice between good and evil. But perhaps he’ll opt for a chaotic balance of somewhere in between.
Is Stream a villain or an antihero? He probably doesn’t know himself. The reader will have to decide.
Mathias G.B. Colwell grew up in far Northern California exploring redwood forests and cloudy beaches. He loves God, his family, and friends. Mathias has been a writer for most of his life, drafting his first stories as young as eight years of age. His desire to write fantasy was inspired by such authors as J.R.R. Tolkien, David Eddings and Robert Jordan.
Mathias earned his Doctorate in Educational Leadership and has spent a decade working in higher education. He is currently employed in the career services department for his local university. He is an avid traveler, having visited or lived in over 35 countries. His travels have led him around the world to five continents including extended stays in Russia, Spain, Chile, and the United Kingdom and he attributes many of his passions and goals in life to these experiences.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and also playing and watching soccer. Mathias has often found that having an imaginative mind has made his personal life much more fun, full, and quirky. Luckily his wife Michelle, and his son Mark, seem to agree with this, as they contribute to the nonsense on a regular basis.
