About this ebook

Oda Akira is the kind of guy who people forget is even there. His unassuming nature pays off, though, when his entire class is swept away to a fantasy world, and he slips easily into his new role as a silent assassin. Between his suspiciously high starting stats and too many details that don't fit, Akira is sure something is wrong. But digging into royal secrets is a dangerous game, and when Akira uncovers an evil scheme, he also makes a powerful enemy--the very king who brought him to this world! With the help of the elven spirit medium Amelia, can he find the power to set things right, and get his revenge?

I genuinely can't tell if this is supposed to be a parody or if it's just a terrible rip off of Arifeurta. Everything is way too rushed. As a result, everything falls into or out of place in too convenient a fashion. The MC is a baffling combination of smart and stupid. I had to stop reading about halfway through, and I usually love my chuuni protagonists. It gets a second star from me because it's does have 1 or 2 twists on isekai tropes that were a bit fun. Edit: I lowered the rating to one star. I may have stopped reading the book, but it somehow has wormed its way into my head. I just can't get over how bad it is. Edit 2: Its 4 months later and I still can't get out of my head how unbelievable bad this book is. Edit 3: Another 6 months and still believe it's the worst thing I've ever read.

The mc is ridiculously overpowered to the extent the author just kind of seems to forget what he can do. It really feels like the author wrote themselves into a corner, because the longer the book goes, the more the mc becomes a generic, brute- force powerhouse instead of anything resembling an assassin. Not only that, but the guy is completely oblivious when it comes to making good strategic choices. The story seems to forget that he could accomplish his biggest goal at literally any time because he can make himself completely undetectable to everyone who might want to stop him, but instead, the author ignores that so that they can pretend their character has a long term goal to pursue. This story is a generic power fantasy isekai trying to convince you it's a subversive one like arifureta, failure frame, or shield hero, but forgetting to actually lay the groundwork to actually accomplish that

so I like the storyline the only thing is is the point of views. I don't like how it flips between so many characters points of view. I can understand if just like the two main characters but I mean you're flipping through like four to five different characters point of view every few chapters. other than that the storyline and everything else is great! even though I don't like the point of view stuff I'd still buy this book again. and I will be purchasing the entire series
