It's quite a departure from the type of Ms. Hart's works that I gravitate to, but I was more that pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoy reading this one. The future is a capitalistic dystopia in this one, and our thespian protagonists are skilfully prancing around to reach their humble haven despite the unfavourable odds. If you're familiar with Ms. Hart's works, you can pretty much expect a lot of emotional turmoil sprinkling the pages, so be ready for that. Always. Even when it's about punching bears.

Megan Hart writes books. Some of them use a lot of bad words, but most of the other words are okay. She can’t live without music, the internet, or the ocean, but she and soda have achieved an amicable uncoupling. She can’t stand the feeling of corduroy or velvet, and modern art leaves her cold. She writes a little bit of everything from horror to romance, though she’s best known for writing erotic fiction that sometimes makes you cry.
