About this ebook

New York Times bestselling author Meghan March goes back to New Orleans and the world of Lachlan Mount with a dangerous and bold new anti-hero.

The thing about ghosts is they’re supposed to stay dead.

That’s exactly what I am, but I can’t stay away from Magnolia Marie Maison for one more day, let alone another year.

We’ve already got fifteen of those between us.

As it stands, she’ll want to kill me as soon as she lays eyes on me. And knowing her, she’s completely up to the task.

But I’m a man on a mission, and I’ve got everything riding on this.

So, here I come, Magnolia. This ghost is ready for whatever you got.

After all, there’s only one way I want this to end—’til death do us part.

Creole Kingpin is the first book in the Magnolia Duet. Magnolia’s story concludes in Madam Temptress.

Creole Kingpin is book one in the Magnolia Duet. It was a captivating read. I loved it! I wasn't really a fan of Magnolia in the previous books but now I love her!! She was strong, fierce and sassy. Moses, the sexy and swoony anti hero was all alpha but sweet to her, which I love! Magnolia and Moses had an intense and explosive connection. I loved them together! Looking forward to reading book two!

***5 ‘Ho-It-All’ Stars*** Ooohhhhh… Okay. Didn’t see that one coming, but what a way to throw down! Now I definitely NEED to know what the hell is going on, because the reaction is gonna be EPIC! But outside of that ending, I FLOVED this book! Absolutely, FLOVED. Not that it should be a surprise to anyone, but this baby gave me everything I was hoping for when it came to Magnolia. After meeting her in the Mount Trilogy and getting more of her in the Savage Trilogy...well I NEEDED to know all the good, the bad and the ugly and this woman is simply amazing. Tough, no nonsense who owns everything she is. I loved being in her head, seeing her vulnerabilities and learning about what truly motivated her. Moses may not have been on my radar long, but after all that went down in the Legend trilogy, he definitely made the very, very long list of secondary characters by this author that I hoped would get their own HEA, and he hasn’t disappointed. The man is all kinds of Alpha AF, no doubt, but seeing his...gentler side had me melting. As for their journey...I gotta say, I enjoyed the push/pull between them, and to be honest I did tend to be #TeamMags, but what Moses was throwing down...all kinds of melty. But the chemistry between them is intense and they fit so well together, it’s, it’ll be interesting to see what goes down in Madam Temptress because it promises to be, if nothing else, all kinds of fun! I’m a fan girl of the author’s, that’s no surprise, but I really enjoyed Creole Kingpin. From Magnolia and Moses’ shared history, to their time apart, to the crazy that is going on around them in the story...I just thought it was all well thought out and executed. Also, I loved getting to catch up with a couple of fav’s and seeing where life has taken them. This is a duet, so yes, if you couldn’t tell from the beginning of this review, there is a cliffy and I definitely can’t wait to see all of that plays out. ~ Copy provided by the author & voluntarily reviewed ~

"...a former gangster-thief and a madam..." During the devastation of Hurricane Katrina begins this story of Magnolia and Moses. Magnolia is no shrinking violet! She is as tough as she is beautiful and she is determined to be ruled by no man, she is her own queen and she is fierce! Slay baby slay!! Moses has come back to NOLA to win back the woman he had to leave behind so many years ago. He is exotic and a swoony alpha through and through. This story takes you to the Big Easy, the Cresent City and Ms. March writes it beautifully. This story is just the beginning of the second chance for Magnolia and Moses and their chemistry is hotter than the gates of Hades! The dialogue between these two characters is white-hot and swoony. This story flows seamlessly with flashbacks to the beginning of Magnolia and Moses' relationship, though brief it made a lasting impression on both of them. I loved the magic and mystical themes that surrounded Magnolia, how steeped in the culture she is. I like that she held a healthy belief in the unknown and respected it. As always, Ms. March delivers a heck of cliffhanger at the end of the story!! I cannot wait to see how this duet ends!
