Note: I was given a complimentary copy for an honest review. Well, this trio of authors has delivered another great read. The stories are fun, yet deliver some life lessons at the same time. The collection opens with a scene showing 4 men - 3 best friends and their coach from high school days. The three have had mutual goals of leaving their small town, Alaska, and landing jobs in the Lower 48. However, one event after the next has blocked them. Now, they're in their mid 20's and still in Alaska. Suddenly, the conversation turns to matchmaking and the result is that they've made a bet with the coach - if they win, he'll provide jobs for them on a hockey farm team he owns in the Lower 48. They lose and they have to produce a full page ad about all the wonderful reasons to live in Alaska. What happens after that is a fun series of stories that span approximately 3 weeks. In the first story, Baby Baby by Melinda Curtis, Cooper Hamilton's past catches up to him. Even though there's a serious angle to the story, I still found myself laughing throughout. Major themes - taking responsibility of your actions and following through with promises. Secondary themes - alcohol use and morality In the next story, The Matchmaker Wore Skates by Cari Lynn Webb, Ty Porter has secrets that he fears will not only ruin his future plans, but also his reputation and relationship with his best friends. Can he accept a second chance at love and overcome his fears? Major themes - owning up to your past mistakes and facing your fears. Secondary themes - the strength of friendships / trusting your friends My complaint with this particular story is the ending. I wanted more closure with the newspaper article and all that entailed. It seemed too tidy and neat. I felt that a lot was glossed over and ignored. The final story in the lineup is Suddenly Sophie by Anna J Stewart. Gideon Walker only wants to protect Sophie Jennings, but she thinks he dislikes her. Then, when he sets her up on some truly awful dates, she's convinced he hates her. What's a man to do when he realizes that he wants to be her next date? Major themes - family responsibility - how far does it go? Overall, I found the stories pleasant and entertaining. I thought the plotline of men acting as matchmakers was original and creative. Language - PG Romance - PG - Kissing only My overall rating - 5 stars

Three sweet novellas that will have you laughing and leave you smiling when done. Three best guy friends start a matchmaking competition and the winner gets to leave the small town in Alaska and work for a big time hockey team. Little did they know that they would find true love right under their noses and be happy where they are at. I highly recommend this clean sweet book to all romance readers.

Three funny and sweet stories of unexpected love. Cooper, Ty, and Gideon are three guys anxiously waiting for their opportunity to get out of Alaska and work for a big time hockey team. Never did they think they would find the women of their dreams in small town Alaska but they did. Their matchmaking antics were hilarious and made for a very entertaining read. I highly recommend this one!
