About this ebook

She’s always been my complete opposite, and now I think she might be the one woman I need.

Anna has been my best friend since grade school. Then, she was just a nuisance who followed me around. Now she’s sexy and sarcastic, and nothing like the women I usually date. Sure, more than once I’ve thought about what she might be like in bed…how her flesh might taste. It doesn’t mean I’m going to give into those desires.

At least, that was before my fiancé dumped me and Anna tossed off her latest boy toy. A night of eating and drinking to celebrate our single status turns into a night of all kinds of debauchery.

Once I’ve had her in my bed, I realize I’m addicted. She’s the only woman for me—but she has other ideas. She doesn’t exactly believe in happily ever after.

Anna might be skittish, but there is one thing she doesn’t understand about me.

When it comes to love, I always play to win.

»WARNING: The following book contains super sexy times, graphic terms for body parts, torture via silk stockings, a little spanking, and shower and office sex.

It's so boring I couldn't even finish it and the 30 pages that I read I had to drag myself to read them! It lacks concept or a theme or a story altogether. It's like it could have been wrapped up in 3 pages but the writer had to add 100 pages of "harmless" "boring" sex scenes. Which quite frankly are not that seductive or erotic. If u really Want to read erotica, Sidney Sheldon S way way better.

Amazing! I could not read it fast enough, had to find out what happened next, especially at the end. The story is captivating and could stand alone as a excellent love story even if the erotic elements were ommited. So many "authors" tend to write erotic novels with little to no story and 2 dimensional characters, they could not even come close to Shroeder' s writing . Excellent book!

About the author

From an early age, USA Today Bestselling author Melissa loved to read. First, it was the books her mother read to her including her two favorites, Winnie the Pooh and the Beatrix Potter books. She cut her preteen teeth on Trixie Belden and read and reviewed To Kill a Mockingbird in middle school. It wasn’t until she was in college that she tried to write her first stories, which were full of angst and pain, and really not that fun to read or write. After trying several different genres, she found romance in a Linda Howard book.

Since her first published book, Grace Under Pressure, Mel has had over 60 short stories, novellas, and novels published. She has written in genres ranging from historical to contemporary to futuristic and has worked with 8 publishers although she handles most of her publishing herself. She is best known for her Harmless and Santini series.

After years of following her military husband around the country and world, Mel happily lives with her family in horse and wine country in Northern Virginia.
