I like the characters but I wish they had some more depth. This book intrigued me enough that I want to read the rest of the series. This book was dramatic, angst filled and riddled with freaking hot sex. It steamed up off the pages. I pray book 2 is even better. Onto the next installment.

This series is incredibly similar to 50 shades although slightly cruder with its language. I enjoyed the books and its characters and there were some good parts to it but I couldn't help drawing similars with The Grey stories. If I hadn't have read those first, I think I would have preferred this series, it seemed better written and had more depth and background to it rather than just being a catalogue of sex, although the BDSM/DOM aspect to this book fell a little flat compared to the detailing in Shades

I bought this bc I wanted a book after reading Fifty Shades of Grey but couldn't find one good enough. This was suggested and I fell into it fast. I would have given it 5 stars, but for one i wish it were longer, felt like as soon as I started reading I was done and two, bc of its short length I got into Blake and Ericas characters but kept wanting more detail, everything was just so quick to happen. It's a great book don't get me wrong, but definitely not Fifty Shades lol
