Have started this fast and feel better for it. Most convincing. Will report soon. I week in 2 lbs down. Will update. Now it has been 2 weeks. Started at 196 now at 192 and eating almost anything on non fast days. keeping calories around 1600. and 500 for fast days.

I have fasted before, and it wasn't really bad, except I only ate three apples in the periods that I fasted. I am eager to begin the 5:2 fast, for I found it seems to be easier to stick to than what I have tried before. Friday's are my normal fast days, so I will begin tomorrow.

Great book. Well written and easy to follow. I lost 21 pounds in 7 months. Pretty easy way to lose weight, with solid research and science behind it.
