3.5 stars---THE DEMON’S IN THE DETAILS is the ninth instalment in J. Kenner’s contemporary, adult DEMON-HUNTING SOCCER MOM paranormal,urban fantasy series focusing on demon-hunter Kate Connor, and her seventeen year old daughter Allie. THE DEMON’S IN THE DETAILS is a story of second chances and betrayal, power and control, magic and the supernatural, love and loss. The premise is entertaining and engaging but the conflict resolution was too quick, lacking any emotional depth or action.

Loved reading the amazing and awesome story. Because of being financially strapped, Lainey takes the job to help her ex-friend, Harlowe, solve a cold case at a dilapidated hotel on an island. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written full of twists and turns, and a must read riveting story.
