I was given this book to review and found it to be an enjoyable fantasy tale. Royce is on a quest set by his father. Genevieve is locked in a nightmare. Dust continues to follow his choices. Altfor...shudder. Set in a believable world, the battle for power flows, tussled between good and evil and those whose only wish is to survive the cruelties from the nobles. The characters are fitting for the story, though Dust is the most intriguing. The sense of place is great, the plot coming together nicely. There is magic and mayhem, adventure and action - altogether making for an entertaining read. Recommended - though there is more to come.

this is the first book by Morgan Rice that I have not given 5 stars to! for me it was a tough read and it didn't flow well in my opinion! I enjoyed the characters I enjoyed the plot line but again it to me it was a tough read and not always cohesive! there were times that it did not seem like the different points were linked together until I got deeper into that portion of the story! I look forward to the next book in the series and I hope that it is more cohesive and or explanatory! I love Morgan Rice riding and she is a wonderful writer and I look forward to any and all books that she writes!

Another great book in The Way of the Steel saga. I'm not going to add any spoilers here, just give you my honest opinion of the book. This saga continues with great adventures and an exciting storyline. With all the characters you love. Never a dull moment as usual with these books. Love them.
