The heat between Lance and Morgan is off the charts. I liked Lance in the previous trilogy, but have been surprised at his background. There is a lot of depth in his character. Morgan is young but life has made her mature. Their verbal sparring is fun as they keep resisting their attraction. The story has already had a fair number of twists. I expect the next in the series will have even more. The ending is one of the cliffhangers that Nana Malone does so well.

Deep Pockets is an intriguing and seductive enemies-to-lovers romance. Lance has been friends with Morgan's older sister, Gwen, since Morgan was a teen. The snarky banter between them hints to more. After Lance and Morgan finally act on the fiery attraction and chemistry between them, Lance's past appears, putting them both in danger. Lance sends Morgan away, breaking both their hearts. Lance is running from his dangerous family, not liking who he was becoming. Lots of secrets, suspense, steam!

Team Morgan all the way!! It is an enemies to lovers story but it is so much more! This story has been building her book, Takeover. Thankfully you do not have to read the previous books in order to get in to the goodness that is the story of Morgan and Lance (though, I highly recommend reading the previous books for more fun battles between Lance and Morgan). This is so spicy and a great way escape from the real world! Lance and Morgan are both great characters! I can’t wait to see more of them!
