This was short, sweet and to the point. Valentine is smart, insecure and wants to be more adventurous. Bennett is arrogant, not looking for anything serious. Not sure how Nana Malone did it but she gave backstory that explains why Valentine and Bennett are the way they are. I liked the conflict between Bennett and Andriana. My biggest complaint is I would have liked the conflict between Bennett and Adriana to have been expanded. I really liked the best friends Trevor and Mel they were both tell it like it is friends. They were funny and made me laugh. This was a fun trip and to watch Valentine and Bennett come to terms with their feelings. In my opinion Nana Malone did not disappoint. In my opinion it is worth reading. I received an ARC edition for my honest and voluntary review.

Sweet, Sassy, and romantic. What happens when you hate and can't stand your neighbor and you have to make everyone believe you are truly, madly, deeply in love with them. A fun filled, passionate story, filled with wonderful surprises for both Valentine and Bennett, where they would discover that there is more to the other than the illusions of a playboy and an uptight and peculiar girl. After been dumped, again, around Valentine's day by a copy of an ex-boyfriend, Valentine finds herself in the arms of the her very annoying / playboy neighbor. Her neighbor sees and opportunity to escape from his boss wife claws in his very hard to deal with neighbor. After that moment we see how by trying to convince everyone that they are in love, they truly succeed in falling in love with each other and seem much more than any could have imagine in the other. A great story where all of the senses play an integral part, specially smell and taste, creating a the perfect atmosphere for this sexy love story between Valentine & Bennett.

This was a very quick read. Midway through chapter one, I was hooked. This was a humorous, sweet love story. Bennett and Valentine had a lot of chemistry. They both had preconceived notions about the other person's character and personality. They were pleasantly surprised to find out how wrong they were about each other. Val's mother and sister were both a piece of work. The story ended a little too suddenly for me. I wish it had been longer. I also hope Trevor gets his own story. Overall, I did enjoy This book. It left me with a smile on my face. I voluntarily read and reviewed this Advanced Reader Copy.
