Honestly, the writing style was childish. The trope was over used. And the plot had no cohesive transitions. I genuinely felt like I was peer reviewing a classmate's paper in high school English class that didn't have too high of a grade in the first place. As someone that's a big fan of spicy fiction, I can appreciate the scenes themselves but how the author got from point A to point B was lackluster and served no real purpose to the actual plot of the story. There was also basically 0 build up to the relationship of the protagonist and the antagonist. First he's stalking her online then they MAGICALLY get together? The writing was sloppy, poorly developed and largely uncreative. I've honestly read better work from AO3 users, but hey, English literacy rates are declining across America as we speak so who can really be that shocked.

this book was HOT - like seriously, OMG, so hot!🔥🔥 I was totally hooked. I did expect the stalker side of the story to last a bit longer and for the identity to stay hidden a little more, but overall it was still really good. Now, I'll be honest - I'm not really the mushy, romantic type. I'm usually all bout the gore, the erotic, and the action. so reading something with a bit of mush was definitely out of my comfort zone. I kind of hated it...but low-key enjoyed it at the same time 😂🫣. The ending also surprised me - it wasn't what I expected at all, but it wrapped up really well. Overall, I loved it. A solid, steamy read that definitely kept my attention from start to finish 👌🏾 👏🏾 !!

The free sample has me wanting to read more 10/10. I decided to read the free sample they give you before deciding on whether or not I was going to buy a copy of the book at a store.Usally the dark romance genre scares me but this one is actually really good. I love that he tries to see if she consents to anything before actually doing anything to her.Also I love that he realizes what he's doing is messed up and has boundaries that's he's not willing to push
