THIS BOOK WAS A VERY PLEASANT SURPRISE, THE AUTHORS ARE VERY GIFTED AS WE ALL KNOW, THAT I KNEW, THE ELEMENT OF ROMANCE COMBINED SO ARTFULLY WITH THE SUPER NATURAL WAS SUPERB. I FOUND MYSELF UNABLE TO PUT REMAINS DOWN. THANKS TO THESE TWO GREAT MASTERS OF THEIR GIFT. PLEASE READ AND ENJOY!

This one completely consumed me. The characters felt so vivid and alive, even when the story drifted into something otherworldly. Sparks takes romance to a different plane here, quiet, haunting, and deeply human. It’s less of a tearjerker than his usual books for me, but still left me misty eyed. I loved watching love, loss, and mystery intertwine so seamlessly. I could not put this book down.

I've read many of Nicholas Sparks's novels over the years, & they have yet to disappoint. When I saw that he had collaborated with M. Night Shyamalan for a new one, I couldn't pass it up. I'm a huge fan of supernatural stories & fantasies, so a novel created by one of the best romance authors out there & the king of twists in movies sounded right up my alley. It definitely was worth reading. Like all of his books, this one brought the feelings & was even better with a "twist" in it too. Do I recommend it? Of course I do! I didn't want to put it down it was so good!
